Railinc Board Elects New Chair, Adds Two Members
CARY, N.C.—January 14, 2014 (James Street Media Services)—Railinc Corp. announced today the election of a new board chair and the appointment of two new members for its board of directors.
Jo-ann Olsovsky of BNSF was elected board chair, and Fred Ehlers of Norfolk Southern and Serge Leduc of Canadian National Railway joined the board. The announcement was made following a recent Railinc board meeting.
“We are delighted that Jo-ann is leading the Railinc board,” said Allen West, Railinc president and CEO. “She has been an active leader, and continually challenges our executive team to find new ways to serve the freight rail industry.”

She joined the company in 2006 as assistant vice president of telecommunications. She has held leadership positions at Verizon and GTE, and spent 13 years at AT&T.
“Further strengthening the board are its two new members; both are industry executives with tremendous technology expertise and leadership experience in the freight railroad industry,” said West. “They are great additions to the Railinc board.”
Ehlers is vice president information technology for Norfolk Southern Corp.
